What Is Spotify?

Launched in 2008 Spotify gives its users access to over 50 million songs. The company has been headquartered in Stockholm Sweden. The main components for the search are artist, genre, and album. Since its inception, it has been widely recognized as one of the best music streaming services. There are 70 million paid subscribers with 100 million free users. Since 2018 the company has been winning the 'Best Streaming Service' award. It has also been nominated as a tech pioneer by World Economic Forum in the year 2011.

What Is Hulu?

Hulu is a subscription on-demand video platform that serves the United States and Japan exclusively. Launched in 2007 it has gained a massive audience over the years. It is owned by Walt Disney and Comcast is also an equity stakeholder. The company has formally decided to launch the services in other countries of the world by 2021. The company executives are of the view that as compared to the competitors the service has been limiting itself a lot. This is another reason to collaborate with Spotify to get more exposure.

What Is Spotify Hulu Bundle?

This is not to be confused with the student bundle that costs $4.99 per month. This plan has limited commercial access to the Hulu commercial. With the student plan, you cannot add the premium channels. However, with this bundle, you get all access to Hulu. If you are subscribed to Hulu alone then you need to cancel the subscription to get Spotify and Hulu bundle through the Spotify services page.

Note: It's no longer possible to sign up to the Premium and Hulu $9.99/month deal. If you cancel or upgrade to a different plan (e.g. Duo or Family), you'll lose access to Hulu. Students can still get access to Hulu's ad-supported plan and SHOWTIME (see below).
